Week 5 Report

REPORT WEEK 5
Only one doll separated the New Club ‘A’ and local rivals Garsington Sports Club in what turned out to be a long epic low scoring game in which Garsington’s Barry Ruffles shone with fifteen dolls (4-5-6). The opening leg Garsington set with 21 and a slow reply by New Club left anchor man John Horton needing five to tie and six to win, however he fell one short with four to give Garsington an early lead. New Club set the next leg with 22 which Garsington matched and New Club taking the leg on three sticks. The final leg was also tied 22-22 and this time three sticks could not separate them.
