Week 11 Report

STUART & SONS OXFORD & DISTRICT AUNT SALLY 2022
REPORT WEEK 11
At last, we had some great Aunt Sally weather and it showed as there were some high scoring games and individual scores. There was some exceptional throwing in the Premier Section game at The Blackbird ‘B’ and leaders Black Prince. The opening leg Black Prince set and won 28-19 and went two up in the next leg, when chasing a set of 24 they passed that with 29 in reply. Final leg the leaders set an impressive 30 which normally would win you the leg, however The Blackbird fought back and matched it to send it to three sticks which The Prince won with a set of 12, to give them the maximum win. In all they scored 87 dolls helped by 14 form Roger Goodall (5-4-5) 13 from Rob Bradford (3-4-6) and Jon Townsend chipping in with a six. Willy Waite top scored for The Blackbird with a baker’s dozen (3-6-4) with teammate Graham Hambridge chipping in with 11 dolls.
